Industry, academia, research, and governments will join forces to cultivate system semiconductor design personnel. The “System Semiconductor Design Major Track Course” is started for undergraduate students. The goal is to produce 200 system semiconductor workers per year. Until now, there has been a project to cultivate master's level personnel in semiconductor design, but it is the first time to attempt an undergraduate education program.

 Kim Jong-pil, CEO of BTREE (Algorithm design company) said "It is the first time that the government has formulated the fostering of undergraduate students, and if the policy is consistently promoted, the concerns of companies can be resolved”.
