The South Korean telecom company with its partners, Switzerland-based ID Quantique (IDQ), and fabless Korean company BTREE began developing QRNG chipsets for smartphones since 2016.

 ID Quantique provided the quantum random number sequence technology while BTREE supplied the semiconductor chipsets.

 The QRNG chipset is in the process of supplying global smartphones, IoT, and autonomous driving companies.

 In the smartphone field, it plans to increase the lineup of smartphones equipped with quantum security technology by supplying mobile QRNG chipsets to global smartphone manufacturers.

 In addition, it is also pushing ahead with a business to enhance semiconductor performance by mounting QRNG chipsets in semiconductors used in automotive electronics and cloud industries, where demand for next-generation security functions is high.
